The Shadows Brightness slider saved the day restoring the foreground area and the house on top of the hill. My dramatic sunset clouds photo above left did a really great job of capturing the clouds and the sky. These are brand new to the Photo Tool > Enhance Infobar.
Introducing the Shadows Brightness and Highlights Brightness filters. The Auto function in the Brightness Levels Dialog can help some photos, but it does not do a really great job of opening up dark areas or grabbing more details in washed out areas. But unless you know a great deal about cameras and settings, you are at the mercy of the built in exposure meter. Two Power-Packed All New Photo Filters Digital cameras and even smart phone cameras can take some really fantastic photos.
